Well, my second semester back in ceramics is over! I'm whipped but content with what I have accomplished. I've loaded and unloaded many kilns and weighed and mixed 6 glazes. I have remixed 8 five gallon buckets of dry thrown away clay to reduce waste and save me some cash. In addition, working with the many level 1 students has reinvigorated my desire to one day become a college ceramics/art/business teacher. From what I have learned most artists need direction and business sense. Most of us know the personality conflicts with that though... However, one must overcome those challenges to fulfill their dreams.
